| Lindsey
Devine
Lindsey
Devine is entering her 5th year with KVC. Lindsey is CAP 1 and Impact
certified. She has coached at various USA Volleyball clinics/camps.
She has completed her eighth season as head coach for ETSU.
Devine is a graduate of York University in Toronto, where she earned
a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Physical Education in 1988,
and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 1990. Devine played
outside hitter for York from 1984-1988, helping her team to four all-province
titles, along with a bronze medal at the 1985 National Championships.
Devine began her coaching career with Durham Attack Volleyball Club,
one of the top amateur programs in Ontario. She served as the assistant
coach from 1997-99 for Durham Attack’s 17 Boys Elite Team, and helped
coach back-to-back National Championships. She was named Coach of the
Year following the 1999-2000 season.
She initially got her start in Johnson City in 2002-03, serving as co-coach
for the Buccaneer Volleyball Club’s 18-year-old elite team. In 2003,
she was the volunteer coach with the ETSU Volleyball program.
Devine resides in Kingsport, Tenn., with husband Carl, and two children
Megan and Owen.

Stacey
Cleek
Stacey
Cleek is entering her 4th year with KVC. She has assisted coaching the
conference champion volleyball team at Ross N. Robinson middle school
for 2 years. Stacey also coaches up-and-coming players in Kingsport Youth
Volleyball.
Stacey played high school volleyball for Sullivan South High School under
Sherry Hooks. Her textbook form and attitude on the court resulted in
active collegiate recruitment by 13 colleges and universities. Stacey
chose to play under Kelly Andrews at ETSU where she was nominated for
freshman of the year within the Southern Conference.
Stacey has been a volunteer and private coach for 7 years. She is driven
to this commitment by much more than a love for the game. It is Stacey’s
greatest desire to help form and promote the next generation of influential
leaders. The principles and discipline required for success in volleyball
have proven to be an amazing catalyst to this effect. |
LeAnn
Farthing
LeAnn is entering her 5th year with KVC. LeAnn is a 2000 graduate of
Sullivan North High School where she graduated with Honors and perfect
attendance while playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. She received
the prestigious award of ALL-STATE in volleyball her senior year. She
continued her career in volleyball and softball at Montreat College.
She
received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education with
a minor in Mathematics. After graduating, LeAnn returned home to Kingsport,
Tennessee where she began teaching and coaching at the middle school
level. LeAnn is currently working on her Master's in Secondary Education
through King College.
Her
philosophy in coaching is to not only teach the game of volleyball,
but to also teach life skills and a work ethic that will enable players
to become successful in today's society.

Rachel
Cooper
Rachel
Cooper is entering her 4th year with KVC. She is an assistant volleyball
coach at ETSU. Rachel came to ETSU in 2006 following a four-year career
as a starting outside hitter for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. During
her time at MSU, she was named to both the President’s and the Dean’s
List, as well as being nominated to the CoSIDA Academic All-America
team. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Science
in elementary education from MSU. She completed her master’s degree
in sport management from ETSU.
A native
of Roscoe, Ill., Rachel finished her volleyball career third all time
in kills (1,405), a two-year captain and team most valuable player.
She was also the first Bulldog player ever named SEC Player of the Week.
An academic standout, Rachel was an MSU Bulldog Honor Roll and SEC Volleyball
Academic Honor Roll selection. |
Jamie
Taylor
Jamie Taylor is entering her 1st year with KVC. Jamie is a graduate of King
College in Bristol, TN, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Behavioral Science in 2000. She played volleyball under Coach Susie
Toomey, where in her senior year the Lady Tornado team earned their
first appearance in the NAIA National Tournament.
Jamie played
both basketball and volleyball at Sullivan Central High School. She
has coached Kingsport Youth Volleyball for two years and enjoys teaching
young players the fundamentals of the game. Jamie continues her love
of the game by playing both women’s and co-ed leagues throughout
the year. Currently, Jamie is working at Robinson Middle School in Kingsport
and pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Education from East Tennessee
State University.
Tara
Sunquist
Tara
Sunquist is entering her 2nd year with KVC. She graduated from the University
of North Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. While
in college, Tara coached club ball in the Jacksonville Juniors organization.
Tara was a scholarship player for the North Florida volleyball team. She
was the 2006 team captain and had the school record for digs in a season.
Tara has coached National club teams. She was the assistant volleyball
coach for UNC Charlotte where she specialized in training defense and
passing. She also was the goals coach for outside hitters and liberos.

Beth
Snapp
Beth
Snapp is entering her 5th year with KVC. She played volleyball at Dobyns
Bennett and graduated from high school in 2003. She played as a defensive
specialist and libero at Milligan College. Beth began coaching youth
league at age 15.
Beth is completing her master's degree in Occupational Therapy at Milligan
College focusing on pediatrics and sensory integration.

| Bryan
Dean
Bryan
Dean is entering 2nd year with KVC. He currently teaches and coaches
volleyball at Robinson Middle School. He graduated from SUU in 1999
with two bachelor's degrees, one in Education grades 1-8 and the other
in Special Education. Bryan played volleyball, basketball and football
in high school graduating in Las Vegas, NV.
Bryan
enjoys playing recreational volleyball in local leagues. He is very
excited to be working with young players to teach the fundamentals,
as well as a solid knowledge of the game. Brian's primary goals to promote
good sportsmanship, create a love for the game, emphasize the importance
of team, and build a strong work ethic.
Bryan coached
the Robinson JV Team to a second place finish in 2009. He has also coached
his own children's teams in soccer for the past 6 years. Bryan is married
to Myranda and they have 4 beautiful children: Benjy, Tomas, Dafney
& Calvin. He
has served significant time on the mission field.

Kendra
Harrold
Kendra Harrold
is entering her 2nd year with KVC. She has co-coached the Junior Varsity
Team at Sullivan South for 1 year. Kendra also coaches up-and –coming
players in both Kingsport and Sullivan County recreation leagues.
Kendra
played high school volleyball for Sullivan South under Sherry Hooks
helping win the State Title her senior year and received All-State honors.
Kendra was recruited by several colleges before selecting Tennessee
Technological University to continue her playing career and earn her
Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. While working
at Eastman, Kendra also received her MBA from the University of Tennessee
and is now a Global Industry Leader in Marketing.
